Week 6 - Harlan County Black Bears

HOMECOMING. The Cardinals come home this week for a big game against Harlan County.  

Homecoming is always an exciting time in high school football. It’s a great opportunity for all those former South Laurel “Cardinals” to come back home and check out a game. Come and see the new version of the South Laurel “Cardinals.”There are many activities to keep your excitement going. The students are fired up about different things going on each day at school, we’re gonna elect the queen, And most importantly, your 5-0 Cardinals will take the field against the “Black Bears” of Harlan County.

It has been my goal since we came here, to see Gilliam Stadium full. What a great opportunity for that. Come on home South Laurel “Cardinals.”  Come to homecoming. Come out to Gilliam Stadium on Friday night, and take part in the great activities of this homecoming night. Let everyone know “you’re coming,”….. Because ….. #WeComing!
