Week 8 - Pulaski County Maroons

The Cardinals are 7 - 0.  Ranked number 4 in class 5A in Kentucky.

It’s the first time since 2004 that South Laurel has won seven games in a season. All that is great, and wonderful, but it doesn’t mean a hill of beans to Pulaski County.

Our district consists of Pulaski County, Southwestern, North Laurel, and us. All four teams will go to the playoffs at the end of the season. The only thing left to determine, is what the seeding order will be. And that will be determined over the next three weeks. The first and second place teams will open the state playoffs at home.  Only three games left in the regular season, and we need everybody on board for those games.

We travel to Pulaski County Friday night. It’s a great opportunity for our team, for our program, and for all of our fan base to raise the level of play a big notch. We are excited about the opportunity.

Come go with us to Pulaski County on Friday night. We need you to come and be our “12th man.”  We need loud and proud fans in the stands, and all around the track, to support our Cards.  Be a part of Cardinal Nation and let’s see if these Cardinals Can achieve 8-0.
