KNOX CENTRAL PANTHERS

 Getting your butt beat is a tough thing. When you go out in front of your home crowd, in a big bowl game, and really have a poor performance, it puts a severely bad taste in your mouth. Everybody makes mistakes in every game, and there are always things you’d like to do over.  However, the lesson and all of it is just to move on and take what you’ve learned and apply it to the next game.

And we will. This is a very resilient team, and we’re learning fast as we climb the ladder. We have a rule called the ”24 hour rule.” That means once the game ends on Friday night, we will revel in the victory, or waller in the mire of the loss, for 24 hours. After that we’re gonna put it behind us and move on. Too many challenges down the road to worry about something that’s already happened. Learn from it. Put it away and let’s get our mind on Knox Central.

 The ”Panthers” of Knox Central are a very solid football team. They will show up on the Southside Friday night with fire in their eyes, because they’ve lost to South Laurel two years in a row. They certainly will bring their “A” game.

Come on out to “The Gilliam,” and bring all the family and friends,  Let’s make it a big night. We’re gonna celebrate our Youth League teams, and see if we can’t put a good performance on the field.
