Chapter 3. The season begins this week. This will be the 57th team in the history of (South) Laurel County High School. All the talk of the Off-Season Program, Spring Practice, Speed Training, and Training Camp, has faded into the Gray,…..

I am personally very excited about this season getting underway. It is my 3rd season as the Head Coach of the South Laurel Cardinals Football program. Improvements have been made, and  growth has appeared, In the first two seasons.  However, “Chapter 3” will answer some questions…..

Has the rise of South Laurel football the past two years been a sustaining thing? Or has it just been a “fluke” that the wins have come? Have we actually risen into the upper level of “The 606,” or is it all  just an aberration?  Can the winning continue, or has it all just been a bit of a dream….?

“Chapter 3” will  #LeaveNoDoubt  as to where the South Laurel Football Cardinals program  currently resides. It will show whether last season was a fluke or not.  it will show if the improvement has been for real or not. It will also show us a strong glimpse of the very near future. 

So let’s drop the green flag, and get this thing started …I can’t hardly wait to find out myself…
