PERRY CENTRAL COMMODORES

The 5-1 Cardinals travel to Hazard Friday night to take on the ”Commodores” of Perry Central. It’s another opportunity to #LeaveNoDoubt that we belong. Perry Central is just another team that used to use South Laurel as a whipping boy. Homecoming games. Parties on the field. Well, all that’s over.

The Cardinals continue to climb that ladder. After a big win over Perry Central last season at home, now is the opportunity to go to Hazard and take one away from them in “their house.”   It takes something special to win on the road. To win in ”their house.” 

There are lots of lessons to be learned on the field this year and this is just one. Overcoming adversity in many different varieties is the main job of a young football team. We have certainly had our share in the first half of the season. But now, we’re getting to the nitty-gritty. Before we get into district play, we need to travel to Perry Central, take care of business and win a big game.

And to do that, we need you! We need all of Cardinal Nation to make the trip to Hazard on Friday night. We need to have a bigger crowd than Perry Central. So, come on and get on board, wear your red and black and let’s go get this thing done. Then it’s on to the district ….
