PULASKI COUNTY MAROONS

The 6-1 Cardinals are rolling into District play ranked in the KY State 5A Top 10.  District play begins this week. It’s a home game against Pulaski County. PC is ranked number one in the state in class 5A.  How many times, do you ever get an opportunity, to knock off the #1 team at home…?

Our district is comprised of Pulaski, Southwestern, and North Laurel. After we have all played through the round-robin District play, we will be ranked 1,2,3,4. The top two get to open the playoffs with a home playoff game. Seeds 3 and 4 have to go on the road.

The “Maroons” of Pulaski County will come to the Gilliam this Friday night. No one in the state expects South Laurel to win this game. So, Cardinal Nation, you need to turn out in droves, just so you can say you were there when it happened…..

It’s been a long time since South Laurel has knocked off the #1 team. (Maybe never?).  But it’s a new time in South Laurel football.  It’s time to show that we can run with the big boys. It’s time to #LeaveNoDoubt that we belong…..

Make plans to get there early Cardinal Nation. Tailgate, wear your red, it’s gonna be a big night!
