TRAINING CAMP

There is a TV reality show called “Hard Knocks.”  They go to an NFL Training Camp and show you behind-the-scenes stuff at football practice, and meetings, etc.  It’s always a special time when football season really kicks off. It’s a time of practice, and training, and meetings, that the fans never see. The fans are gonna show up on Friday night and see the finished product. But the steps taken from now until those Friday nights have a crucial impact on how successful your football season is gonna be.

We are excited to get our training camp underway this week. Everybody is 0-0 at training camp. Everybody’s dreaming of a championship at training camp. It’s an exciting time. More stories will be told in the future, of things that happen at training camp, then things that happen in the games coming up. So let’s get it on. Let’s get the helmets and pads on, let’s sweat, and let’s see just how much effort we can put in to an exciting time that will determine success in our football season.

For the fans, all I can tell you now, is get your tickets for the season. You get prepared. Have your own, “Training Camp.” Get all your new sideline gear, get your season tickets, make plans for all the trips to the road games, and let’s make this season something truly special.
